When we were asked to supply samples for the Serena Williams cover shoot of Monarch Mag, like most of our lingerie we could “barely” contain ourselves.  Not only do we adore Serena and her bangin’ body, we couldn’t wait to see which styles she would pick from our collection.

We sent tons of plus size corsets, skirts, shoes and patent styles We were thrilled when we heard that Serena picked the Cinderella Petticoat. She loved it so much that she asked to keep it! How cool is that?!

Rebecca designed the Cinderella Petticoat with the full figured femme in mind. After the success of our short petticoat she wanted a way to glam up corsets even more with a long version.  Something that would still look sexy and sheer but keep that aura of mystery. Part princess, part vixen, this long tulle petticoat makes the  perfect must-have companion piece for your wardrobe. Your more sophisticated instincts might convince you to pair it with a strapless low back bustier, but if you’re feeling terribly naughty you may want something a little edgier…like an eye-popping lace up plus size leather corset!

We all know Jill Scott is amazing so we were honored when her stylist asked us for a corset for Jill’s Essence Magazine article! We were so thrilled to see the creative way the stylist had Jill wear our plus size corset. We understand that not every venue is the appropriate place for in-your-face cleavage!

According to the neo-soul diva, Ms. Scott in the early days had a trainer who told her if she didn’t lose weight she would never sell a record. Wonder how many Grammys the trainer has won?

Janice Dickinson, who is notorious for insulting and criticizing anyone whom she considers to be overweight, has agreed to let her son, who runs the commercial division, bring on two plus-sized models. Plus Model Magazine casted the two models for two fashion shoots in the September 2008 issue. I was the key makeup artist on set, and experienced the filming first hand.

A whole lot of preparation went into making this double shoot run smoothly, and of course, in keeping with Janice’s style, there was a whole lot of drama when she showed up to the taping.
